Description
The Indian Gooseberry or Amla is a small to medium size plant that belongs to the family of Euphorbiacee and is native from India and tropical and sub-tropical areas of South East Asia like China and Indonesia. The plant is characterized by a deciduous smooth grey/green bark with oblong leaves and yellow or pink spherical fruits from which the extract is obtained.
